About Géraldine Deiss

"As Vice President in France and internationally, I know what is means to be a leader . I discovered the power of executive coaching in the 2000s in the United States. I had just changed companies, moved to the United States with my family and taken on a role as Plant Manager. My previous experience was no longer enough for me to cope with the demands of this new job. I was working a lot and was exhausting myself. The HR manager of the Plant offered me executive coaching and I met Geoff, my first coach. Coaching allowed me to navigate from functional leadership (where I had all the answers) to strategic leadership centered around a committed and efficient team. A new world of possibilities opened up to me. I went from being a hard worker, crushed under the load of her duties and driven by her "to do list" to a more visionary leader and relying on his team. I obtained the desired results with a feeling of lightness, contribution and pride. This allowed me to take on increasingly important roles and to have important human contributions. The human dimension is and always was and always will be essential for me.

I also had coaching during complicated moments in my personal life. This coaching allowed me to be at peace with life accidents and to move forward with courage to set up the life that suits me. Today I want to pass on my leadership experience and also to make the power of coaching known to as many people as possible. I am convinced of the positive impact on the lives of people who want to grow and develop. I also believe in the social impact of personal and professional coaching to lead a more conscious life, to reinvent oneself and have a chosen contribution.
